Performance is horrible

This site is still sucking. I seems nothing has been done to fix the slow loading, out right broken links and other problems here. If you are having the same problems, please post here. Put your problems and what OS you are using.

I am using Windows XP sp3, IE 8.0.6001.18702
I have also tried Apple Safari 4

Problems I have seen on BOTH:

Slow/no loading of pages; I am CONSTANTLY having to click on links to pages twenty or thirty times to get it to load, if I don't it will say "oops this link appears to be broken".

broken links; if I click on the little arrow for "newest posts in thread", it will not load. I must click on the main topic and then navigate to the last page and then TRY to figure out which was the last post I read.

When I post, I must click on the "post reply" button at least five or six times. If I don't, I get "oops this link appears to be broken" and it sometimes posts and sometimes not. If I do click many times I get "this is a duplicate post..." then the browser NOR the link will take me back some times.

Let's try to figure out if it's the website, the OS or Browser or both.

This is getting so frustrating.

Thanks,

Tex

Pages either don't load or take over a minute to load per page.

I started using FireFox with Ad Blocker Plus and noticed an improvement in performance. Setting up a filter subscription to use EasyList(USA) made the ultimate difference. I have used this setup in XP, Vista, and Win7. Give it a whirl.

They need to update the websites engine. It isnt even that expensive and there are layouts that are available. I can find out what my other forum just switched too and it works very fast and has nice features like embedding youtube videos.
