I agree on this one. I think there needs to be a subforum specifically for DIYs. No matter what it is.

I'd be more than happy to help out but I don't know how to go about it if its a big deal or not I already have most of the DIY bookmarked I'd most likey move them all together than split the DIY between coupe and sedan or by generation if admins are cool with this just PM me.

Very good suggestion. Who is in charge of letting people post / add threads to that section? I think they made it read only a few years ago, but there have been a bunch of good DIYs the past few years that should be added (IMO).

I searched!
Why is it threads get moved to the dungeon / DIY and FAQ forum, and nobody can reply to them?
So it is a forum where threads get moved to, and nobody can ask questions about?

Sorry guys, just seeing this thread now.

OP, thanks for the suggestion and if you see any worthy DIYs please PM me and I'll see they get posted in the appropriate section.

The DIY was closed a long time ago due to the excessive meaningless and inaccurate posts that where being posted. The thought back then was that if a DIY was to be posted, it had to be a legitimate one. If you guys feel that we need to revisit how DIY threads are handled, I'd be more than happy to hear some ideas.

DIY should be split by generation and model obiously but should be submitted for review by g35drivers moderation staff for further approval

Thanks Shane. How about restricting new threads, but not restricting replies?
