any tips on using search function

like the title says. I really wanted to know how you can search for a string of words in a row. For example, belt tensioner gauge in a row.

I entered 'belt tensioner' in 'key words' line, chose 'search entire posts', left all else the same, including 'search all forums'-- and 11 posts came up.

I would say that's the best you can do, and all the info on the subject that's in the database so far.

is there anyway to force it to search for short terms? for example i'm trying to find the link to a bmw forum talking about reliability probems, but bmw is always auto excluded because its only 3 chars, i had the same problem a while back with rpm. i've tried quotes and + but no luck...

thanks
