Ok...first let me say that I love this site and have for the past several years.

However, I just don't agree with having to pay to join a web forum....so I didn't.

But....does anyone else remember back about a year and a half ago....when the site admins asked for contributions to a PayPal account to help with site upgrades?

I had no problem with contributing to the fund to help. I was later assured by several admins that everyone who came thru then and helped when they asked would be compensated with a membership.....and it quote (actually copy & paste):

"Those who contributed will be receiving an upgrade. Whether it was a dollar or twenty, you answered the call and helped make this upgrade possible."

What ever happened to that???

 

Anyone that has contacted or has the same Paypal email address as the one they used to sign up here, has received an upgrade. There's no way to get all of the information from the PayPal account and have it tie into the system, considering most people didn't send their screen names/registered email addresses with their paypal contributions.

We went through the list of every contributor and added the ones we could identify to Premier membership, whether it was a penny or $50. I think we got about 90% of them, and the rest we've added as they confirm their email addresses with us.
