been getting the following attached pop-up on some of the pages on this site. anyone know what the hell it is? it's starting to get a little annoying. thanks.

giddyup, whats your ISP? To me that looks like you are going through a proxy server to access the net.
I am getting that same pop-up, but it should only be on old pages. That thread in specific was dug up from when this forum was running the older software. Most likely, it was due to a poster who had an image in his signature hosted somewhere. Since the time of that thread, the directory containing that picture has become password protected.
So every time you view a post by that user, your browser will want to load that old signature picture, thus prompting you for username/password.
It SHOULD not happen on any modern threads, unless there is some other problem which the admins would have to look at.

I'm almost guessing someone posted links to images within that site therefore your getting popups in order to login and see those images..

Oh yeah, it doesn't have to be a signature. Could be someone just using the image tags. So far I've only gotten it on this thread...

sorry... i can't remember which threads they were in. but it would make sense that the pics were pulled in from a hosted website. btw: no proxies on our server. if i run into the problem again i'll copy and paste the link in this thread. thanks for the info.
