where are the side mirrors? and where's the wheelgap permitting streetability?

Jason(just got reinspired to make it to med school and beyond)

the lack of wheelgap is because that concept has 20's on it.... dont expect it on a production model

20" wheels, side cameras and panoramic glass roof are strictly concept features. most of the redesign will come from minor tweaks to the exterior and interior.

Nissan confirmed that the 20" wheels would be on the production model of the GTR, why not Infiniti to do the same with the G35?

I'm not trying to provoke anyone, just want to keep my hopes up for those wheels.

I can't see why the 20" would necessarily be out the window. We've got plenty of guys on this forum that have 19s+ on their coupes with 1"+ drops... It might just be a ride comfort issue.

I think the 20s on the GT-R will probably be more race-inspired, where the ones shown on the Infiniti concept are clearly more "bling" oriented. Seems to me that both could work.

sorry to burst your bubbles but i checked with my dealer (as i'm looking to buy a new coupe this year) regarding the 07 coupes, he said they'll look exactly the same as the 06's, perform exactly the same as the 06's, but priced slightly more then the 06's. The pictures above are just pics of a concept so don't expect it on the road next year. Believe me i was sad when i found out.

you and the dealer are 100% correct. The car in the pics above is the 2008 G coupe, there won't be a 2007 coupe, only a sedan. Infiniti is now doing what BMW has done with the 3-series, releasing the coupe 1 model year later. Its expected the coupe will be released late spring/ early summer of 2007 and the hard-top convertible comes out that fall as the new 3 series coupe will also be available in a hard top convertible.
Also, the next gen coupe may get a V8 option as the Lexus IS is coming out with a coupe with a V8 option. This V8 is most likely since it's final that the GTR will be a twin-turbo V6 and badged Nissan, not Infiniti. More evidence to support this V8 is that Toyota is resurrecting the Supra with a 3.5L V6 putting out 350 bhp and will have 400+ bhp V8 option. All this is to dig in Nissan's profits from the success of the Z, which now we have to believe will too have a V8 option. If the Z gets it, we know the G coupe will get it
