Nissan Sport will get the first official look at the all new 2008 Infiniti G35 Coupe on January 7 and we'll release the car's official sketch January 10

Carlos Ghosn doesn't mess around: The Renault-Nissan boss gave a handful of journalists a brief and to-the-point press conference just prior to the Infiniti preview party for the new G35 coupe and a next generation crossover.

 

I thought they were waiting until April to publicly unveil the coupe at the New York Auto Show. I know they showed an updated QX but that's all I've heard.

We don't want the G35 Coupe, we want the G37 Coupe.... and hardtop convertible! Caribbean Blue!

Nissan won't leak the 3.7L VQ engine info until they make VK50 official though..... (otherwise 335hp V6 vs 340hp V8 doesn't make a lot of sense)

I really hope that isn't true because I REALLY want the new coupe to debut with more power.

 

^^^ I think they were lazy and just applied the sedans info to the coupe... My guess is a bit over 310hp

 

are they unveiling it a the detroit show?

 

Hmmmm...that's odd. Click on the link now and noticed that the page has disappeared. Either Motor Trend put up the wrong information or they weren't supposed to release that information yet.

 

Could someone who saw what the Motortrend link said please post a synopsis. Thanks.

 

just said it had the same as the sedan 306HP but looked a little sleaker than the current coupe. probally like the concept but with same interior as the new sedan and same engine. The link i found was in the show coverage area for the 2007 detroit show on motor trend and it said 2008 Infiniti g35 coupe
