Ohhh that would be sweet if it was a G37T. Turbo from the factory kinda like the 335 pushing out 320HP, how that would be sweet. Tuning would be sooo easy. :-)

I think if the next gen G coupe has a T; it will SURELY beat the sales of 335i. That is, of course if they keep the price reasonable.

It just depends on when Infiniti decides to get serious if they haven't already.
Now that would be high performance Alex. You present an interesting case for making that swap.

Let's hope someone important at Infiniti/Nissan agrees with you.

I am pretty sure the original GT-R test mule was a modified 1st Gen G35. So, it could be just another testing platform to compare different components/settings at the same time.

I wish! I'd do it if the numbers were favorable. What do I know though, I'm not an exec. of a division of a publicly traded company.

08' Turbo Coupe?

Only if the 08 Sedan gets one too! Otherswise you can't have one.

I know what you mean. I'm President and sole officer of my own company but that doesn't give me any pull with Infiniti.

If considering domestic, don't forget about the '08 Dodge Challenger. Looks to be a BEAUTIFUL car. My last 2 work trucks have been dodge's and my '01 now has 311000 miles and is going on nothing other than general maintenance and a new clutch so i can't complain about their durability, both mechanically (granted, it is a CTD) and interior craftsmanship. I have DEFINATELY become a renewed Dodge fan in the past couple of years, and I, like many of you, had all but turned my back on domestic vehicles. I am very interested to see what the new Challenger will end up hitting the dealerships like. In my stable, anyway, a new G35C and Challenger will be competing.

We recently investigated the issue, asking an Infiniti rep if the name might have a "T" at the end. "We do have letters in our parts bin," he replied.

hmm

3 months an counting... going to dealership tomorrow to TD a 4dr 6sp 07... prob going to leave a deposit on the 08 coupe.

ppp

No, I will not have a T, but it will be a g37 Coupe

Nissan is going to release a few new model in 2008 including a new 350z (370Z), G37 Coupe and G35x. Another model like the Madza CX7.

The engine is VQ37HRR or something.

^ Exactly. I'd like to see some proof too.....but we know that's not going to happen. People seem to love spouting off mere speculation for facts lately.
