To Peter's credit, no one has posted the pics side by side, and he went through the trouble of resizing them to match. This is probably the most revealing post that compares the 3 cars. I think it's a good post, although he could have posted it as a followup to an existing thread.

basically...if you are going to compare a FR to a FF costing 15000 less...go ahead...if you are not going to buy it...so what. We don't care. People didn't stop buying the 5 series because the tC came out...they even have the same headlights by hella with subtle differences.

Here is what I don't get. Nissan is the parent company of Infiniti. Why wouldn't some designs be similar? So there is some similiarity between the side profile of the new Altima and the coupe concept...shouldn't there be? They are produced, essentially, by the same company so shouldn't there be similar design cues? How weird would it be if the altima looked absolutely nothing like the G35, and vice versa? If it didn't, then we would be complaning that the new Altima coupe doesn't look like a Nissan product. I confuse VW's and Audi's sometimes. Not too much anymore because of Audi's huge shield-like grill.

I think that similar design is correct and should be expected. At the same time, once both the Altima coupe and the new '08 Coupe are on the road, I'm sure you'll be able to see the difference.
