I like "G", I've heard it was just going to be called the G coupe, but who knows things change all the time.

Whatever its called... it will debadged. LOL
But yea "G coupe" If there is a "sport" model like on the 07 sedan, it would be a shame for them to put the same S symbol.
Looks like somthin from the previous gen corolla sport. Takes away from the "refined" look

My gut feeling is that Infiniti will disapoint us all and put G35. After all, they reworked the 3.5 liter for a reason, not to put it in the sedan only for one year (I could be wrong though, was it used in other models?). Magazines are speculating right now so they will put info we want to hear to get us excited and sell more books. The theory of keeping the 3.5 for 2 years and then put in the 3.7 makes lots of sense.

I'm hoping for G37, if it's not, I'm not buying, simple as that.

Considering the G coupe will be introduced in only about one month or so, I can't imagine that Car and Driver would get it wrong. If so, it is either the best kept secret of all time, or C&D just sucks reall bad.

Considering that Nissan has already confirmed the 3.7 TT for the GT-R, I don't see them machining 2 differenent blocks for other models in NA form. It would cost too much.

Wouldn't be cost effective just to use it in the GT-R.

**EDIT** I Just read that.........exactly. It is still a business

Autoblog: Next Infiniti G Coupe officially named G37

Set to be unveiled next month at the NY International Auto Show, the car now has a name attached to it: G37. This was confirmed in an email that went out earlier today from the NY Auto Show.
