New Spring 2007 issue of Nissan Sport mag to feature 08 G Coupe, Project G35, more

The new Spring 2007 issue of Nissan Sport goes to press next week. Yes, we’ll have ALL the scoop on the new 2008 G Coupe. For the last few weeks we’ve been starring at the pictures and engine specs, which has drastically cut into production time. We’ll have complete analysis and design breakdown in the issue (which is in addition to what we’ll release March 28 on the web).

Of course also in the issue, our G35 Project continues, we feature a Coupe owner (grandmother of all things) who owns a knock-your-socks-off G, the G35 highlights from the Tokyo Auto Salon, and more… including the usual drivel of RB26 swaps in a Z32, mega-horsepower GT-Rs, the cleanest 240Zs you’ve ever seen, updates on the G35 racing efforts, and so on.

IMPORTANT: Our subscription rates are going up MARCH 20, since we are adding lots of extra pages (16!), putting us at an even 100. Now is a great time to subscribe, and if you do so by Tuesday, March 20, you'll lock in our low subscription rate and get the new Spring 2007 issue. If you have any questions, write me personally at editor@nissansportmag.com or call circulation at 505-771-2374. Thanks as always for all the support. Enjoy the new issue!

Thanks! Just as a reminder, we have a teaser pic of the new 08 Coupe online (www.nissansportmag.com). Plus our cover is going to change slightly, as the new Coupe will slide into the upper righthand corner on March 28 (when we can release that info).

Magazine is expected to ship the last week of March or the first week of April. It can take anywhere from a day to a couple weeks to arrive. We're doing the finishing touches now and adding the latest info from Infiniti on the new G and Crossover Concept. Every few days, we get a little bit more it seems....

The way I interpret it, Nissan Sport more or less have all the specs and pics of the new coupe. They can't release them until the 28th.

Infiniti was planning to provide more information, but they don't even have final specs from the engineers yet. We've delayed the magazine about as long as we can, but today we are expected to get a few other nuggets.

Our web writeup is up (www.nissansportmag.com) with a couple of unseen pics (including the one on our cover). We'll have more analysis and info in the Spring 2007 issue. We've extended the deadline to order until Thursday, March 22. We'll keep everyone posted when we get new info (be sure to sign up for our free e-mail alert).

Another FYI. Due to the G37 release and embargo scheduling, we're able to accept new orders for the Spring 2007 issue through March 27.
