Non-believers, take a look at these shots (not the ones in edmunds or automag)

Now these glossy shots are classy and and much better... i know for sure the car will be much better in black (and in person). but yup, way too much like my current 06....love the rims tho....

As unimpressied I am by the looks, im "wowed" by its performance.
I think, just as the article states, we better wait until we see it in person before we judge the new front end.

Sorry, the rear end just doesn't look right.

I think both the current coupe and new sedan look better than this. I welcome the new engine though.

Fancy photography doesn't help IMHO. What is up with the magenta shading anyway? It looks so over-processed it looks more like an illustration than a photo.
Also, if you look hard, I think they knew they would get disappointed reactions to the softened cut lines -- notice every line is artificially accentuated in the studio shots, but is barely visible in the real-world shots -- looks like a sign they were over compensating for taming down the finished product.

I love the interior and engine upgrades but overall disappointed with the front end. Is this design really anticipated to be as popular as the one it replaces? What a dissapointment. How soon can they start making changes on the 2009?
