August 21 is the official release date. Unless you have a friend at the local Infiniti dealer that can pull some strings, you'll have to wait along with everyone else.

I won't buy one without a test drive first, so I imagine it would be even longer before I get one.. I also won't pay sticker..

Looks like December or later for me, though perhaps if I buy in Montana or the Dakotas the weather will cut the price.

Cross-shopping the Gallardo with the G37? I don't know if that's complimenting the G or dissing the Gallardo.

So since I live in Kansas and it snows in the winter, I should go there on a snowy day and walk out paying invoice? lol

You can afford a Gallardo, yet you're penny saving? I sure hope you're joking.

I personally will refuse to pay anything above MSRP as this is a big purchase where I intend to pay in full hard cash (I've been saving for a LONG time for this).

I'm hoping the demand won't be too high if it does come in August due to the upcoming winter...

Well technically I can afford to buy a Gallardo, but I don't want one. The penny saving part is true which in part is why I can afford one.

I still drive a 1998 Maxima knowing full well I could be in that Gallardo getting more strange in a week than I usually get in 3 months. I must say getting a girl because of your car is not as rewarding as getting her cause you got skills and charm..

In reality the cars I am considering to replace my Maxima are:

G35/37 sedan
G37 Coupe
335i
The New Evo X
Jeep Wrangler 4 door..maybe the 2 door
Audi A5 ??
Altima V6
Future Dodge Challenger MT

any other RWD or AWD MT vehicle with lots of go.. No automatics... Oh & I would keep the Max as a spare..

jnmunsey,

The Altima is a FWD vehicle. So if you want to stick to RWD or AWD, you might want to take it out of your list.

Oh yeah I meant to say I would drive that one in reverse..

Actually that would be one of the few FWD cars I would consider, but it would take a lot to get me to buy it.

I thought release time was sometime in June. If Infiniti has the means to put it out by June they should, just in time for summer where people get hot cars, It would be a smart thing to do.

August 21 is the official date, but they will probably start arriving in late July. The sedan was due out in November, but was at dealerships in October. So they will probably be out a little earlier than August 21.

Makes sense, we can all afford expensive car, it's just not the wisest decision. You just threw me off by the way your sentence was structured. It was as if it was a done deal on the Gallardo.
