I may be late on this one...but there are rumors swirling about Infiniti making a more aggressive version of the G37 Coupe which will sport a twin-turbo, AWD, 500hp specs, and an engine that is shared with the new GT-R set to debut this year.
Figuring this is to keep up with the more aggressive models that are coming out from other companies i.e. bmw 335 & lexus is350-F. I say it is about goddamn time. Anyone confirm such rumors? and What do u guys think?

does that even sound logical? think about it. they would be shooting themselves in the foot.

Not gonna happen ... if this is the Infiniti version of the GT-R as a peace-offering to the dealers ... and as the 'halo car' for Infiniti ... it's a poor excuse and it might backfire on corporate if they greenlighted this idea...

^^^ I think... "... shooting themselves in the foot," was the correct term to use.

they will come out with a rival to the m3 though, something along the lines of 400hp?

Well if Chrysler and Dodge can have 425hp in their mainstream sedans I can't see why Infiniti can't in their highest performing car. The GTR is going to need a lot more than 450hp to justify any price over $50K, regardless of how unnecessary such a boost in HP may be.

haha the video said "the 500 hp AWD infiniti concept g37 was leaked out by an infiniti dealership with advanced inside knowledge of the cars makers plans.

because they put all of there money into the engine then skimp on the rest of the car. Infiniti is trys to cover all areas evenly.Originally Posted by jnmunsey
