The wild card here would be the new engine I think. Infiniti might decide to add a small fee in case of possible future warraty works.

Okay cool. I'm thinking CDN funds so that's where part of the confusion comes in . My '04 was $49k and change (CDN).

I agree with the small bump. 3% or so would make sense.

Yeah, you guys are the real heros for paying extra dough for most cars that come your way and in many cases without options that the rest of the world usually gets. Must have something to do with your import laws or just laws in general. I hate laws....

Did you make it to the dealer, were you able to place an order w/ or w/o pricing info available?

I don't know about heros...perhaps suckers is a better word.

Some of the other guys confused things here saying we don't have the options the US has. That's misleading and not correct. Our cars have the same equipment available as the US. It is just packaged differently generally with more options as standard and fewer packages available. Our 1st gen coupe for example were all premium cars and the 6mt's were fully loaded except nav as an option. No base cars.

The fewer packages are likely due to fewer buyers and better economies of scale for Infiniti by bundling things for our smaller market.

i didn't make it out there, was at a job site all day while concrete was being poured. i'm giving the sales manager a call during lunch today to square things away though.

i did receive an email from the sales manager yesterday, though, stating that they received full listings of options and colors. he confirmed what we've already learned from Michael that IP/Graphite will be available.

I'll probably be heading over to CarMax at some point today to get an estimate on selling them my Accord, even though it'll obviously change by the time i take delivery on the G37.

Thanks, keep us in the loop, and save a spot in the concrete for the sales guy who pisses you off the most.

JK!

Before any Sales guys reply to this, it was just a joke, I am in direct sales as well, so I know the pressure and the fun of customers.

I'm expecting pricing by mid july AND a demo 08 coupe by then before it comes off the port in late August.

the base price will go up due to more standard features but the premium pkg car might have a suprising sticker compared with the 07 coupes.

A very interesting 3,003 post, you are here for the long run. Sign me up for that demo run Mr. Mayor, and I may have to give you the keys to the city. Citi card that is, demo by July you say? I like the sound of that.

ok, so i was offered 200 dollars less than MSRP (quite funny isn't that?), but more importantly true blue book value, avg b/w 'fair' and 'good' for my trade-in vehicle at time of purchase.

as Da Mayor stated, my dealership isn't expecting pricing until closer to August, but they are also expecting less than a 1K price increase over the current coupes. we'll just have to wait and see. I've got the order in for the IP/G, 5AT Sport, Prem, Nav.

Thanks, very very very happy to hear it, glad you have your new baby on order, good luck with it. um, ... why not red? haha

hope it lands quickly and the wait is painless, but from Bostonmerlin's posts, i dont think that can be possible.
