Does that mean the Sedan will not have a 3.7?? Then is the sedan even really a G37 or are they still gonna badge it as a G35. Seeing as how that is how they get the name of all their vehicles is by the Engine size.

Great job man, thanks for scanning them and posting them up!

I hope you don't mind but I figured I'd post them up like this.

Thank you for posting the pics. I just happen to come across the magazine today. I don't know about the rest of you, but I really like the G37. Everything about it looks great! I am even more excited about getting one, having now viewed the interior pics. I am one of those rare type of gals that actually has a thing for cars. While I am fortunate to be able to get pretty much any make / model I want, for some reason, the G37 is calling out to me. Oh, I read that the instruments have a nice blue hue to them-->perfect!

To me, the G37 comes down to being a great mesh between sporty and luxury at a resonable price and likely very reliable (considering the G35's reliablity). The next few months will go by painfully slow in regards to the G37 release.

That blue looks awesome, I am guessing that is Athens Blue. I hope that other color is Platinum Graphite, because that is what I ordered. I think it is awesome when a girl is actually into cars!! Much like you the next 3 months are going to be killer!!

Can someone please enlighten me... "Nissan engineers worked to reduce NVH and have also modified the clutch engagement".
What is NVH?
What way did they modify the clutch engagement (easier to press)?
Thanks...

NVH stands for Noise, Vibration, and Harshness. Not sure how they modified the clutch engagement, maybe someone else can answer that one.

I know my 2004 6mt shifter vibrated alot, so hopefully they are addressing that with this modification. Basically lower NVH means that they are trying to smooth things up.

Also, from what I hear on these forums, the 2007 clutch engagement is high and abrupt, so maybe they are taking care of thast as well.

Ah, thanks guys. I drove an 05 G35 a while back and really didn't like the clutch and shift feel (cluth released high, released abruptly, and felt heavy...shifter was notchy and long throws). I am really leaning toward the 5AT as I doubt the G37 6MT will be what I am accostomed to..and yes, I am picky about my clutch!

I'm going to assume that blue is a photochop, since that is a one-off and no other pictures of that car are in the mag. If that is Athens Blue then that is the hot color and I'm back to considering it over black. Sheesh! I can't stand this. Every day a new tease!

Don't Give Up on the 6MT!

DropTopGal, I hear you! I drove a 2007 GT 6MT and found the clutch pretty much OK. You can make some adjustments in travel and there are also some pretty good Short-Shifter kits out there for the G35. These will likely fit the G37; if not, you can bet the aftermarket cats will surely have 'em soon.

I have been spoiled real bad by the great shifter in my 2005 S2000, with its slick short throws and almost no notchiness. It's the best tranny I've ever experienced in many, many years of driving nothing but MTs. I'm betting I'll be able to get along quite well with the new G, but still praying it will have the right set-up for good heel-and-toeing! +

There's just no way to be satisfied with a 5AT!.... unless you're faced with miserable long daily commutes in traffic like LA and Boston (just two examples of the worst congestion in USA. There are plenty more... Atlanta also comes to mind as a real PITA!)
