20" on a luxury running 30-35 series... dont think so, ride would be horrible and performance would be less then a smaller diameter rim.
glass roof nice until it get a nick from a flying rock. no big deal.
direct port injection... ???? none

You own a 2005, were these options back then and I did not know it? Are they options on any competitors cars in this price range? Did Infiniti promiss these and I did not know it?

It's simply a matter of preference when it comes to the exterior design. Most seem confident that the performance will be better and the price difference will not be significant. Likewise, most seem to like the interior better, which leaves only the exterior design for them not to like. Cost could hardly be a factor.
