Good shots, but even with the drop, it still looks like it is riding high (not fender clearance, but "rocker off the ground" clearance).

Gunmetal, yes. But there are many shades of even gunmetal...

Your powder coating shop will have many samples of such grays.

I like one called "Black Chrome" - gray like so, but shiny and glossy.

Tru, good point. Black Chrome does sound pretty sweet.
I like the dirty (flat) black look... that way you can't tell if my wheels are dirty from brake dust!
