Congratulations! This gives you enough time to order some wheels now so they arrive when the car does.

Congrats! Just curious...if you don't mind sharing, did the dealer come below MSRP?

Nope they would not budge on the price. None of the other dealers in the area were even able to give me a delivery date or let me order the options I wanted. Since I need something right away I went for it. He said they did not expect to be offering any discounts for 6-8 months.

Thanks for sharing... I figured such. The new G35 sedan didn't come with discounts until recently nor was VPP offered until a month ago on that model. I guess those of us who strive for the best deal possible will have to settle for MSRP if we don't want to wait 6 to 8 months after August. Oh well... it is only paper (actually linen), right?

Actually, the Sedan was discounted from day 1. I was able to get $1k off MSRP and I ordered mine last June. The tri state area seemed to be pricing them quite a bit more aggressively compared to other areas since there are so many competing dealers there. I hope that you guys/gals buying the G37 are able to get at least some off of MSRP.

Ive got a red 2008 coupe on order as well. Dealer called and had me pick out options in mid May. No clear indication of price yet, but from past experience with my dealer, this will be at MSRP just like my 2003 couple delivered halloween 2002. Got the first one from my dealer here in Houston
