According to the August edition of Car & Driver the base price of the G37 is $34,765, and their as tested price is $37,665 which includes the premium package and spoiler. BTW there's no estimate after either price, so that sounds at least semi-official to me.

I noticed that too, but thats the exact same base price of a 2007 g35 coupe, but the premium package costs $2350 (as it does in the 2007 g35 sedan), as opposed to $2850 if you do the math. This would mean a g37 with premium package is actually cheaper??

I hope so! I think some dealerships are gonna add a couple of grand on top of that just because it's new..reminds me of the 300c srt's..43k loaded, but many stealerships had it for 55k

I think what's best is putting down a deposit right now so you can secure MSRP at least. I'm quite sure that the dealerships are going to put markups when the car arrives but Chris Reddick from Riverside Infiniti assured me that I will definitely not get a marked-up price. Do you guys think that it will be marked up by like 3-5k?

To you maybe. We'll see when it hits dealerships. 3-5 is high but i bet they try adding 1-2 g at some dealerships.

I drove in a fully loaded 07 G last night. That thing is fast, way faster than my 04. And the interior lighting at night (especially the nav) is phenomenal. Before everyone gets buried in numbers, go out and test an 07 sedan. I think you'll be very surprised at the strides that infiniti has made. It really makes my 04 seem like junk.

Update: G37 Official Pricing

Just spoke with my Infiniti sales guy. His dealership is having a "gala" Inaugural announcement party** for the G37 Coupe on the evening of August 16 (yeah, it's this year ) ** I got invited; they'll have goodies, drinks, nibbles and music as well.

He says that's the likely date for the "Official" price details to go public. He did not have that pricing as of 8:00 AM today. This tells me that dealers will be slapping on the price stickers late on the evening of August 15, probably.

I'll bet the Nissan/Infiniti "bean counters" have held off until the very last minute so they could juggle, scheme and plan to wring every last Yen out of the all-important MSRP. to bean counters, who have their fists wrapped around the short hairs!

That's the current take from here. Your area(s) may produce varying results.

Hey WasabiPossum? Are you by any chance going to the one at Riverside Infiniti? I'm planning on going to their event on August 16th from 6-8pm.

Sorry, Yimbo, but no can do. Riverside's a bit of a trip for me since I hail from Savannah, GAWGA!

My dealer hangs out in South Carolina, just across the Savannah River from here and very close to Hilton Head. I suspect we'll be able to sign up for a test drive on the 16th. I'm only interested in 6MT, so hoping they'll have one for a little romp on the few twisties in the area. I'd be glad to wait for one until it was well into break-in (1200 miles or so) in order to drive it lak' ah done stole it!!
