Will the G37 Ipod Integration work in an 07 G35

Are the headunits the same in the 08 G37 and the 07 Sedan? If so can the ipod integration in the new G37 be added to the G35?

word on the street (more like another member who says he works for a dealership) says you can buy an ipod harness from infiniti to control your ipod via the steering wheel buttons and radio (pre g37 cars).. but from what i understand of the new g37 interface it now allows a true interface to the ipod on the nav screen.
