Since this car has 1 more speaker than the sound system on the 2007 G35 sedan... where is the extra speaker located? I've looked at the set up on the sedan and I have no idea where the extra speaker would be logically fit, heh. Can anyone clarify this for me and if there was already a post like this then I apologize... I typed in "sound system" and came up with no results for the G37's Studio on Wheels.

 

under the passenger seat. female passengers will love it coz it makes the seat vibrate. you know the rest

Hmm.... why would it be under the passenger seat? Wouldn't having it under the driver's seat make more sense since there will always be a driver?

 

I just hope the speakers aren't too heavy. A 2-way 6" driver with a big magnet can weigh 5 to 10 lbs, although I'm sure Infiniti would choose much lighter drivers than that.

 

its actually in the rear deck. the sedan has one sub there, so im not sure if the coupe will have two subs are just make it two speakers instead since the interior is smaller.

 

I was under the impression it would be in the left dash above the gauge cluster, maybe near the windshield as it is supposed to bring the soundstage closer to the driver than was available in the first version of SOW.

 

infiniti is targeting male drivers with this car, and they will most likely have a chick next to them.

That is true. But I guess that gives me a good reason to let my husband drive my car every once in a while so i can enjoy the ride.

 

LOL BTW you have a wonderful car on order. It's nice to finally see more and more people who are actually planning on getting the G37 on this forum. These forums are become better and better since my time here.
