the 5-speed automatic or is it only available for the 6-speed stick?

It's only 6MT. If you want 5AT then just get the G37 Journey with the Sport package.

Yimbie's correct - Sport only comes with the 6MT.

Sport comes on AT and MT, on the MT it is standard, on AT it is an option, but sport is on both of them.

I think what the original poster meant was if AT is available on the G37S model.

You could be right. The G37S comes in AT and MT.

? not according to the specifications... http://www.nissannews.com/infiniti/2...oupe/specs.pdf

Actually... my mistake. The G37S comes with 6MT ONLY and G37 Journey w/ Sport package comes with 5AT ONLY according to those specifications. So if you want the 5AT but also want all the benefits of the G37S... get the G37 Journey w/ Sport package and if you want 6MT then get the G37S.

No problem Yimbie, the information about this car is confusing, you just have to think it through, LOL. It took me a while too, the addition of the sport package to the AT, automatically changes it into a G37S. I am so hoping that they give us pricing this week!!

OMG me too. I wonder why they're keeping the pricing a secret for so long... hmm... well Mercedes kept the pricing a secret on the upcoming C-class until about a month before it's release so...

Yeah I know, so I am hoping since the G37 is a little over a month away, that they will release it soon!

Adding the Sport package makes the automatic model a sport in everything but name. The G37 Journey with sport package (and the 2008 G35 Journey with sport pacakge) does not have the red "S" badge.
