Talk about misdirection! You made the original post confusing opinion with facts. And, then, you want to engage somebody by asking them to supply you with the facts!! If you want to discuss opinions, fine, then discuss them. But, if you want to discuss facts, start with facts and bring them yourself.Originally Posted by fbw5595

Bottom line: you are certainly entitled to your opinion, but that does not make it right, correct or factually accurate.

Not sure thats a good idea. "When saboteurs blew up several natural gas pipelines in central Mexico this month, temporarily shutting down production for U.S. automakers and other important manufacturers, a small and shadowy Marxist guerrilla group called the Popular Revolutionary Army reportedly claimed responsibility. General Motors and Nissan are said to have lost millions of dollars in production at their plants in the region."Originally Posted by patrickwong

I read the original post. Two days or two weeks, when you're a company (large or small) and you have to be closed unexpectedly, it isn't a good thing. Now I'm sure this two day closure will hardly put a dent in Nissan's armor...but time is money. This definitely doesn't affect me as I am not waiting for a new coupe. Thanks for the information, though.Originally Posted by dmkozak

I originally took out the word Mexico and put in “different country”. I did not want to offend anyone, but this is what I meant. It was derived from Patrickwong’s post, “...make the G in Mexico instead”. The US and Canadian plants are fine. Canadian plants are highly ranked according to J.D. Power.
Not to deviate from the OP too much; someone who uses statistics as the truth is piety. Statistics’ only truth is fiction.
Fact:
The 2007, 2006 and 2005 J.D. Power Assembly Plant Award or the Initial Quality Study does not go to any plant in Mexico; However, Japanese, US and Canadian plants are award winners.
2007:
“Among other North and South American plants, the General Motors Oshawa 2 plant in Ontario, Canada, which produces the Buick LaCrosse and Pontiac Grand Prix, receives the Silver Plant Quality Award. American Honda’s East Liberty, Ohio, plant, which produces the Honda Civic Sedan and Honda Element, earns the Bronze Plant Quality Award.”
You engaged me only with text; providing no statistical, factually accurate documents. This is why I asked you to provide the forum with your expressed facts; rather than rely on wondering if they were opinions too.
End: Mexican plants have less than stellar quality rankings. Canadian plants are superior.

You are right. The God is trying to tell Infiniti to redesign their G37 to look and perform better. This is an opportunity for Infiniti to scrap the new G37 and come up with a better design.Originally Posted by kleicoupe
