Journey with Sport Package

One quickie I can't seem to find the answer to:

What fascia and cladding would a Journey have with the Sport Package? Same as the 6MT?

In the list of equipment for the Sport Package it mentions everything but the fascia and cladding.

By my count, if one were to equip a Journey with the Sport Package, you are paying $1,350 for the automatic transmission. That assumes you are getting the same exterior treatment.

Can anyone answer this?

Thanks,

gurney

If you get the sport package on the G37 journey, you get the sport front fascia that is on the manual. The journey model equipped with the sport package will look exactly like the manual on the exterior. The main difference between the two is on the inside, where the manual has a hand brake and the auto has a foot brake.

Let me get this clear - only 6speed is coming in sports model?

So in order to get the sports edition, I would have pick the Journey base and add sports.

Read all of the PDFs and materials in the stickies and on the microsite. All claim that sport packed cars have "Unique front facia and side sills".

Yes it will have the S on the back if it has the Sports Option. It will also come with the chrome spoiler. It is not the body color/zero lift spoiler but at least it is something.

Correct! This is why the 6mt is more expensive than the journey, because the sports features are included. But in actuallity, if you were to get the journey with sports added then it would be more expensive.

Ah, that's bull crap! Why would they make such a move? I hate driving manual at city traffic speed. If I get the Journey and the sports option - Would it be same as the 6 Speed Sports?

The 6M/T also has this mysterious 3rd pedal to the left of the brake pedal.

Nah. The biggest difference on the inside would be the fact that 6M/Ts do NOT have rear A/C vents. With the e-brake mounted on the console the center storage console shrinks and there's no room for the vents.

The Sports option would be the same; Tires, Fascia, suspension, etc.

This was a big decision for me between 6MT and Auto, but I had to go with Auto because of all the city driving and because with the way I drive I am likely to go through a clutch every 6 months. That can get expensive over time.
