My opinion on the new G37
Went to the cerritios dealership today. And got a good glance of the new coupe inside and out. My first impression was wow!! I could see the black G37 sittin on 19s as soon as i got off the 605 and couldnt do anything but stare.
Now lets get the negative talk out the way first. Which is the pictures make the car look like crap. This thing just stands like its ready to leap into the air and take anything thats in its way. The roofline is more sleek and the rear windows look like a slingshot gun. The rear side panels are not all bubbly like the pictures make them seem, but in person they look way more aggressive than the 1st gen. also with the front fenders they flow right with the car giving it an exotic look and not that bulge that was plagued by the pictures. Also the rear is not all that bad, but I have to say thats one area I think infiniti could have improved on. From a distance the rear taillights looks like they cut off at a weird angle and make the back look to high, but up close the rear trunk is made curvy so it give the car an elegant and aggressive look. but I think I like the taillights on the 1st gen. slightly better.
The interior is 10x better you cant honstly love the interior until you see it in person. At first I was upset because you couldnt get the african rosewood with the sport model but the washi aluminum trim is perfect for me its soft and looks good with any interior color you choose. The technology in this car is amazing for a car in its class and price range. From the push button ignition to the hard drive disk that can hold up to 1,900 songs theres also a auxilury outlet so that you can watch videos and listen to other devices such as an Ipod. Now for over weight individuals it may seem a little small in front seats because they are narrow but the seats are extremely comfortable.
My final opinon if you want an exotic car without the price tag this should be your top alternative. Its honeslty the best looking coupe on the road. and the interior is the best i seen for a entry-level luxury sports car. Also I like the non-sport bumber a whole lot more than than sport one. The non-sport bumber looks like is was taken right off the concept which is a good thing. I will finish up as soon as i get the chance to really push the car to its limits.

Saw it yesterday in Black, I'll make this quick
Love the front end,
dont like the rear end too busy, which was a strength of the previous model
interior. . .pretty much the same as the sedan. .. very nice, I like the coupe front seats more than I do my sedan seats and thats saying alot i love my sedans seats. . .
the wheels are awesome.
the previous model flowed better from front to back. . .
overall the car is more refined. . .just as the sedan is
only knock would be the rear end. . .
I think this car would look even better with the windows done and on some springs. . .so it appears to be hugging the road more. . ..
just my take. . .

Yes...test drove black on black journey with the sport package 2 days ago at Tustin Infiniti. This car is gorgeous! I think the styling is the perfect balance between sophistication and agressiveness. It's going to look good when you're flooring it and it's going to look even better when you're cruising. I love it's low and wide stance. Honestly, don't even have to lower it. Tint and you're straight. It's definitely something you can't really describe until you see it in person. When I saw the sedan in person, I thought it look 10x better. With the G37, seeing it in person was 20x better. Now just deciding on IP(my favorite color but yet to see it in person), LP (can't go wrong with this color and looks best when dirty), PG (considering trying a color darker than all the cars I've owned in the past).

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my appointment w/ the dealer who'd called me... I'm so stressed out from work and I'm currently staying home. But I'm planning to go see it when I feel better!
