On the other hand, if someone wants everything they're getting on a loaded car, then it might well be seen as a bargain compared to what other comparable cars would cost. If the interior were studded with diamonds for $10,000 more, even if that represented a good value for the added jewels, I personally wouldn't consider that option a "good deal" because I'd have no interest in a diamond-studded interior. That's obviously an extreme example but I think the logic follows for other items in bundled packages.

Good Post, sir.

There is nothing in this world that "cost too much". You just cant afford it.

The new audi A5 will start at 40k and a clk350 mercedes stock will cost the same as an M45. and a fully loaded IS350 will run almost 48k.

actually fully loaded IS350 should run you just the same as a loaded G37 (from the pricing we have). Should be just under 45k for the IS.

Mine is running just over 44k. 10k in accessories/options is alot if you ask me.
But you do get a lot with the car as it is.

Or I find in many cases it is affordable but the value equation isn't there. The purchaser has to be convinced what they are buying is worth the price. I don't buy a lot of things I could really afford because I don't need something that extravagant or feel it isn't worth the price(value).

Some people live above or at the top of their means and others live below theirs. ;)
