G37S or G37 IPL?

I have three main questions:

1. Is it worth it for the measly extra 18 hp and some odd tq, just to say you drive an IPL?
2. They say there are different body stylings, but I can't seem to find any. Where/what are they?
(My vision is quite horrible though.. )
3. If you don't know off the top of your head, I'm not going to ask, but does anyone know how much an IPL actually is nowadays? I know the new 2013 model is going for $50,500 straight from Infiniti, but what about a model like they started selling in 2010, or 2011?

In a sense, I'm about to sell my 04 6MT coupe for a down payment on a G37, and my new job will be making the rest of the payments. Thank you guys for any feedback you may have on this.

I guess nobody can really answer that for you but you. Somehow going over the 50k mark to me seemed a bit too much, but really that sticker was only about 3k more than the G37S I have. The hp bump alone is not enough to me to warrant the price difference, I like the sport wheels better than the IPL ones, and there are more color choices available for the S models.

Its not too hard to justify the extra price. Better body kit, rims, color, and that SICK red interior!
This is the exact one i would get, Malbec black and red interior.

There's the sport front for comparison.

I hate the IPL's lines... They are terrible looking. I saw an S Convertible that I fell in love with on site. The interior is nice on the IPL though. I thought on top of the engine performance, the suspension is better too. I wld go for the S personally.

The IPL is nice, but for 50k plus tax and license...nah. That's around the price of a pre-owned low mileage C63 AMG for axample.

I don't undertsand the "performance" line marketing with the IPL with such small upgrades in performance. If someone really wanted performance and didn't care about luxury, the new 650hp GT500 starts at 54k.

The ipl is nice but not worth the price, the back bumper is ugly.. I'd rather have stock rear with splashguards.. it might look better with a drop or get an S and put ipl front bumper and sideskirts..

Here is a pic of my boy Diego's G from Miami. This set up is just killer in person, so clean with a drop on CV3's

I have a 2011 IPL and i really enjoy it. It does have bigger brakes and different suspension plus the other things already mentioned. But as has already been mentioned, lots of people don't think the price difference is worth it. Personally, even though most people wouldn't notice it, I enjoy the subtle differences in the styling and wheels as well as the extra power and more aggressive brakes and suspension that make the IPL more unique. Maybe I will eventually get bored and start modding it but it doesn't look like it right now. You just need to take a look at both and see how you feel.

^^ The sport has the same brakes but yes the suspension is different and is worth it if you plan on staying stock. But if you plan on modding your G the IPL isn't worth it at all. Bc most likely you will be swapping suspension and exhaust at some point. however that red interior is to die for
