How much would you pay for a salvage title ipl

Salvage cars aren't bad if you don't mind putting in some elbow grease and dealing with the issues that one might have.
Have a friend that bought a flooded sports car and it's run great after a little work and stripping the carpet. You'd think electrical gremlins everywhere, but about a year later he's had no issues with such.

I had (sold to buy myself a 06 G Sedan) a 2000 Toyota Celica GTS that was marked "Rebuilt" on the title. Spoke to the previous owner who said he ran into a pole trying to drift (yes, on a FWD) the car. Damaged the fender and scraped the driver door. Checked the car out underneath and as best as I could at the time mechanically, and everything checked out good. Had the car for over a year and had no issues with it at all.
The point of my story is, I took a gamble with it, and came out a winner. You'll never know what you get with a Rebuilt/Salvage titled car except for the fact that you know it's been wrecked and it'll be a pain to sell. As with any used car, checked it out THOROUGHLY first before you lay the cash down to buy it. Having regrets later on down the line sucks.
