The G should take the BRZ/FRS in a race. I considered getting one. They're fun as hell to drive, but they're far from being fast.

If you're comparing a BRZ to a g37, they are much different cars. I owned a '13 6-speed BRZ and now have a '09 370z (sport, 6-speed) with only 6k miles. They were nearly the same price in total. Each car has/had mild suspension/tire/exhaust upgrades. (Additionally, If you want the typical boxer exhaust tone associate with Subarus, you need to buy unequal length headers, buy a tune, and void your warranty. My VQ sounds excellent with just a catback IMO)

370z is a much better daily driver for me. If you have the opportunity to really attack some twisty roads/courses on a regular basis, I can see the BRZ being a nice option. However, the BRZ is very weak below ~4k rpm. Personally, aside from pulling on on-ramps, I don't push my cars that hard. The Nissan is more of a tourer in comparison to the Subaru, and that suits me better. Much more usable power, better interior quality, and a more solid feel in general. The only thing I miss about the Subaru is the WRB color, always been a fan of that blue.

Good luck with your purchase!

What's your opinion on my purchase that I might buy on Saturday. I'm buying it from someone on Craigslist car is a 2008 G37 Coupé, clean title, 56k miles, automatic, no nav or back up cam. Car looks clean from the picture it's platinum color and black interior, pretty much stock. He's asking 16,900, brought him down to 16,000 maybe I can bring him down more with Cash on hand? I am planning on buying it cash, no payments...opinions? Fair price?
