Coupe Concept slated for 2007

FYI,

Got confirmation from my dealer that the Coupe Concept is slated for the 2007 model year with sales begining in November of '06.

I don't know but you may already know this...I was under the impression it would be a year off.

Dealers don't know jack...I would be surprised if it was released this November, but stranger things have happened.

That is what I have been hearing too, hopefully it will come out this year as an '07, there really isn't a reason why it can't, the concept shown looked really close to easily being put into production by the middle of this year.

i see the infiniti factory reps all the time at my dealership and i do have some inside information that i can't release but that coupe concept is what it is -- just a concept car and will not be released in november. the '07 sedan's will be at the ne wyork auto show and released in august but the coupe will be a little while longer

Think it'll be anything earth shattering?

I ask because I plan on getting an 06 G35 sedan in the next couple of weeks.

I will also be going to the auto show in NY.

well if you like the styling of the current G sedans then i would go for it but infiniti is pushing the G's to a little higher price and more features than of course everyone else. it'll have a few features in there as an industry first so if your wallet can wait then it'll be good--- earth shatterinG? thats for you to decide

I do - a lot. The current design really does it for me...

I'm going for a base black on black 6MT they have on the lot. It's got more than enough coddle for me. So I don't think I'll miss the extras.

I saw it at the show...
100% mockup; no real parts at all.

They do not even have any info on the engine yet... how are they going to produce a car without an engine???

So much for your 'dealership" info.... Suck to be your dealer.

There's no way Infiniti will come out with the coupe first before the sedan and I doubt they will both be released at the same time either. Like the BMW 3-series, they always release the sedan first for 1 year then the coupe and then the M3. Like others say, The new G sedan might be out late 2006/ early 2007 and we'll be lucky if the new G coupe comes summer 2007.

We won't acutally know until they release it, so nobody can really be sure, we will just have to wait.
