I hate the Next G35 or M35!

Well I don't hate the style but it's more off I hate that my G will look 10 yrs older compare to the next gen. G or M... I'm in the process of going FI (Just waiting for TN to release their Revup kit) but now my heart is broken... I love the style of my G and putting a Turbo will make it extra fun, especially with that intercooler dangling up front. But now I say in the next year or so I'm upset that the next generation of G or M will make my car just ordinary....

http://www.my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=163451

I think i'll hold on to my FI till end of this year and wait what will be the final design, if it's 1000x better that our G then i'll just trade for the new one. If the redesign will be pushed back till 2008 then i'll go Turbo!!!

Well, its expected that a new model comes out every 5 years. There's nothing you can do, but enjoy what you have now.

i like how the coupe looks now but thats wayyyy tooo much.....i like how it is plain and simple and when you add little things it looks much better

but that new coupe just WAYY too much for me.......too futuristic for me

but thats just me......it still looks very nice but just too futuristic for me.....too showy not enough room for modding

I was thinking about possibly trading in my coupe when the new one comes out, but i think im just gonna keep it and FI it. You can still make your current car stand out from a crowd even when the next gen G comes out. Especially if you hear that blow off valve. ALso, the new G doesnt really make our cars look outdated which is why i like the design. The headlights are a little more like the M and the rear lights just got mixed with the Z and G together. The side profile still looks the same.

I agree with this guy. The new coupe concept is just more of a tweak on the existing model, the overall shape/shell is still very much the same.
I think the main differences will be the interior, and the engine.

ya...IMO the curves and technology make our coupe look outdated. its not just a 'tweak' IMHO...a big step up...like the difference btw the old IS300 and the new IS350....old IS was a ricer boy toy...new IS screams class/sophistication....just my .02

Come on, no matter what car you buy, there is always going to be an new improved version of that car coming on the market, nothing you can do about that, even the modifications to the '05 make the G look different, I traded my '04 on my '05 because of the brake improvements, otherwise, I would still have the '04 even though the '05 is nicer all around.

The headlights and grill on a black coupe were what first attracted me to the G. I really don't like the looks of the headlight on the M that much. The car is nice, don't get me wrong, but I just like the looks of the G better. It has the look of a European exotic. Like the old 250 GTO California's.

Why not KEEP your current G and buy the 07 in addition (or 08 whatever the model will be)

I for one am planning on keeping my G35c til it has 200k+ miles (hopefully it lasts that long) or whenever it dies, and I also plan on picking up an 07 or 08 as well... thats just my $.02... especially if your current car is paid off, why not get another one?
