19 inch G37S coupe wheels on G37XS sedan?

I everyone, New guy hear. I'm a 3X Acuta TL owner (1996,1999,2005,) but the new TL just isn't going to do it for me! I spoke with a sales rep at my local infiniti dealership and he told me I wouldn't be able to put the 19 inch G37S coupe rims on a G37XS sedan. Is this true??? If it's not true, how much would these rims and tires cost from the dealer???

It's been done...by me. Look at this thread https://g35driver.com/forums/tech-07...-m45-rims.html. But as Liquid said, u do run the risk of burning out your center of diff. Regarding price, PM me. Now if you are really worried and have $$$, u can always get 4 of the fronts or 4 of the rears.....

Unfortunately, the G37x coupe wheels are the 18's which imo don't look anywhere near as good as the 19's.

Did he tell you why?

You can, just make sure and run the same size tires front and rear. The rims are staggered by 0.5" but with the same tire size it won't be an issue. There are a few 1st gen X sedans with staggered wheels.

Yeah, you can just get 4 fronts. www.infinitipartsusa.com sells them for $480 a wheel.

Again, I've done a ton of research on this and just as long as your front and rear tire/rim combo have the same rolling diameters in which the 225/45 F and 245/40 R have the same if not extremely close, it's not going to be an issue. That's why I put the coupe wheels on my car and haven't had a problem.

Those sizes are close but you would be much better off to go with the same size all around like the 245's. Those sizes would have ~7 revs per mile difference. I know it's not much but still a difference.

I have a set of G35 coupe 19's that I use for my spares when my other wheels are off and they all have 245/40's on them. That's what I would do if I were the OP.

if I got the rims from the dealer when I got the car, would the 19s be an upgrade to the factory rims or would I just have to buy a whole second set? How much would they be?

Have to ask the dealer. I would bet they could swap them but the price would be painful. You might be better off getting a set from another member.

You'd have to buy a whole second set as the 19's do not come as an option on the G37 sedan (unless you somehow magically work it into the deal). Secondly, if you are forced to buy the 2nd set, please do not buy them from the dealer as they will rip u off big time (trust me, I know).
