When did the reclining rear seats go the way of the dinosaur? I used to love that feature, and one of the things I was looking forward to on my '11 6mt sedan but they are nowhere to be found!

there should be a DIY for cutting through to the trunk and putting reclining seats in

 

The recliners haven't been in a G sedan since 2006.

 

Thats one thing us 1st gen'ers have over the 2nd! Still I dont know why they dropped them for 2007+ models

 

I thought the 07 and 08 models had them....I may be mistaken though but what a great feature that was.

Nope, they don't.

It is the biggest thing I miss about my 04x. I think they really helped to make the back seat more comfortable.
I'll live without them though if it means I get everything else the second gen has to offer.

 

can you install 03-06 seats in an 07+ sedan?

now if only they mad the seats so they fold down that would be GREAT

 

The reason they chaned it was a safety issue that in crash test the seats didn't help keep the structure intact in a bad crash. Gift/curse.
