G37 Intake Questions

Hey Guys,

I'm having trouble deciding over the following... This is for a 2013 G37S 4D.
I personally like the Short Rams over the CAI. But i'm fairly new to the G37 and would like to know which one provides the best performance for the price.

JWT Pop Charger Short Ram Intake

Takeda Short Ram

And the most popular

Stillen Ultra long tube CAI

Best performance for the price unless you are going to do other breather mods AND a tune are high flow drop-ins for your stock intakes. Probably not what you wanted to hear but it's truth.

Intakes on our cars provide better sound and some bling depending on the brand, but do squat for improving performance. Nissan did a good job from the factory designing these engines so there's not a whole lot more power to pull from them unless you get serious and go FI.

What?? This is completely inaccurate.

There are a million posts on the G37/G35/370Z/350Z and STILLEN Gen 3 intakes showing strong gains on the dyno, and has been proven time and time again that it's the go to intake for the DTB VQ's

I've never seen an Independant dyno confirmed performance improvement for any kind of intake on a g37 on the forum. What I have seen are dyno runs showing small increases in hp over 6k rpm and big drops in torque on the low end.
