Is there a way of taking off the lower seat foam without taking the seat out of the car?

 

On my G35 coupe I removed all four seat bolts and leaned the seat back and started undoing the cushion from the frame. It may be easier to remove the seat but it isn't necessary.

The factory service manual may provide more information.
