One of the worst things to wake up to if you value your car even a little (which I think most of us value our cars)...

Woke up and went to my car to take off and I see this. It stood out like a sore thumb, white on black!







At first, I thought I parked too far from the curb so I go to check:


Can't really get much closer.

After washing and claying, best I can do:




No name, no number, no information left at all.

 

That sucks...someone hit my car last month and I was mad that no info was there..

 

try rubbing compound works good on my LR.

 

That sucks. Like drifts500 said, try rubbing compound. Ask around and see if you can get your hands on a porter cable and try that too.

Samething happened to a friends car. The porter cable helped out a lot but you could still see the hit.

 

Looks to me like someone scraped you while parallel parking. It doesn't look too bad. Definitely give the compound a try. You'd be surprised how much of that might turn out to be the other persons paint.

 

I took all the paint off. Must be the light or that angle of the pictures. It doesn't look white in person, instead its actual damage to the bumper and sinks in from the hit.
