Personally, I will never use all seasons again.
It also could be that you are running two different brands of tires... You can take two tires by two companies that are supposedly the same size, but they will most likely be different....

On mine, I had Michelin Pilot Sport A/S on all 4 corners, and took some high speed corners just fine....

When my rears wore out, I replaced them with Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS, in the same size as I had before (275/40-18), but left the Pilot Sport A/S in the front, becuase they still had a little more than 50% tread left....

Took at 60mph curve, (that I normally take at 80+), and the VDC kicked in and actually caused the back end to whip out a little.

Replaced the front Michelin Pilot Sport A/S, with a Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS, and my problem went away, and was able to take those highspeed curves again....

VDC was not kicking in because of traction differences, because both tires should have about the same traction, plus I got the VDC to kick in at 35mph, so I doubt I was having traction issues. It was most likely because the Potenzas were 1/10" bigger than the Pilot Sport, which makes the ECU think the tire is spinning faster than it is, so in combination with the Pilot Sport A/S up front, (which is already 2% different size from stock), the slightly smaller Pilot Sport A/S up front (compared to what a same sized potenza would be), was making the VDC think I was losing traction in a turn when I wasn't.

Maybe it's because the TSX doesn't have much power to begin with The VSA in my wife's TL seems just as intrusive as my G.

vdc applies the breaks...thats why people turn it off if they drag race...it turns on the breaks to which ever wheel is loosing grip etc...

As well as u can take them. The G35 itself can not take curves cause it needs a driver for it to steer/gas/brake/downshift etc etc etc etc.

My ride took curves in at 70 mph pretty well but when I added the strut bar and later the 245/275 tires, I noticed taking the curve at 85 to be much more responsive.

My stock 2006 G35 Coupe 6MT handles very well at high speed cornering. Ofcourse, I don't take 80 MPH corners but I've had my share of similar experiences. I was surpriced to see how well balanced the G35 is (with VDC off ofcourse, its too intrusive).

But keep it safe & smart!

michelin pilot sports are great. dont get the pilot sport AS. they dont stick in the corner as well as the regular pilot sport. but the pilot sport AS lasts twice as long as the regular pilot sport. i have been in the tire industry for 15 years, and you always have to give something to get something. so you need to decide if you want the best handling or some longevity from your tires

when i was all stock i used to drive at this one hi-way with a speed limit of 40 at turns i would take that turn at 70 once i did my sways, shocks, struts, springs, gtspect bars, strut bat and 245 front and 285 back i take that same turn at 90 and the rear slides out just a bit so you can say the car handles very good

That's interesting, cuz my Pilot Sport A/S only lasted 20,000 miles

Different tires will lead to mixed results. Same tires at least have same characteristics.
