Hey guys, I've searched all over the place to the best of my abilities on the forum to try and resolve this issue so please don't flame me if I missed a thread about this somewhere(I'm delicate..). Anyways with that being said, my problem is I just picked this car up(see sig. for details) less than a month ago and I have noticed that the fuel door will not lock at all. I've read the manual and understand that the keyless fob opens the fuel door lock pin but mine is always unlocked, even after I lock the car up with the fob. I guess what I'm really asking is has anyone had this issue with a fuel filler actuator taking a dump, or am I just missing something? Sorry for the long post and thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this annoyance.

 

Mine had the same problem. The pin that extends into the door to prevent it from opening was broken off. I could still see some of it, but it was too short. I took the lock actuator unit out from the trunk and managed to glue a new pin on. It's been working fine since.
