Oil Extractor

I hope this is in the correct section if not Mods please move to the appropriate place. Thanks!

Just wanted to know if anyone out there has used this to change their oil. I saw it on my plane ride back from NYC and it seems cool. You will of course have to jack up the car to change the filter but it sure does take away the hassle of removing the plug and draining it. What do you guys think?

From what I've read they seem to work well. I can't see a major benefit since as you said, you still have to change the filter.

I like draining hot oil because it draws any sediment off the bottom of the pan and out of the pump screen. Extracting oil seems like any sediment would get left behind.
