i recently replaced my air cabin filter and accidently unhooked the wire harness for the passenger airbag and now the light is on..i've tried all the tricks to get rid of it but nothing seems to work..i know the dealer can fix that in like 5 mins but its costing about 100 to do that..any solutions?

and i've also heard that its not good to drive around with the airbag sensor light on for awhile..is that true? will it damage anything?

 

Have you done the ignition key reset?

 

i have but not sure if i'm doing it rite...there's a thread on it right? i turn it to on position till all the lights come on and as soon as the srs light turns off, i shut off the ignition..i do it about 4 times then at the last time, i do the same except i don't shut it off..but it didn't work..
