I recently purchased a used 2006 G35. The car came with no maintenance records but seems to be in really good shape cept one thing. The ac has started to make some noise that makes me think it needs some attention.

Will I be out of luck on the warranty without any records? The car does not leak, smoke or seem to have any other issues... appears to have been well cared for but was certainly driven... 40k miles.

I've never had problems with getting warranty work done even though I also bought a used G with no maintenance records, so unless the dealership is an @ss, you should be ok.

 

If the car has been serviced or had previous warranty work done at an Infiniti dealer then any Infiniti dealer has access to that info. There shouldn't be any problems getting the AC fixed anyway without having any records because as far as I'm aware there is no maintenance to do on the AC system.
