so i went to the club and valet my car and they give it back to me. i drive it for about 2 mins and it just dies at the red light.. headlights, dash, everything still on but the motor isn't. took it to a repair shop and they see mud residue in the engine. they said i probably have water damage and they said it could be my ipdm and could cost up to 700 with labor.

how much does an ipdm cost? i'm just scared of getting screwed over so what are some suggestions?

 

quite expensive. couldnt tell you an exact number, but it aint going to be cheap. you should definitely get a new one. its a pretty common issue on the v35, so it would be a gamble if you get a used one.
