Oil Pressure Readings

I believe that this is the best location for this post and question. If I am in error please accept my apology and let me know about making any corrections.

With that being said; I have done some searching on oil pressure and temps but have not been able to get a definitive answer.
(I am aware that variable in the car and so on may alter what information oos generated, but I am looking to get a good base line)

I just recently installed a set Glowshift oil pressure and oil temp gauges in my 05, G35 6MT Coupe, the car runs great and has 90,000 miles with RP synthetic oil.

I am concerned as the pressure gauge seems to be running high from what I understand. The Rule of thumb I had read at one point is that it should be about 10psi for every 1000RPM. I am not seeing this to be the case. At cruising speed on the freeway (70mph), my gauge is reading at 60 psi and in 6th gear I am at relatively low RPMs. I generally don't have to post any questions as searching the forums yields a pot of gold no matter what I am looking for, but this time I am stuck trying to get information.

I would like to find out what reading you may be getting with your various setups, gauges and if there is a true rule of thumb to consider. Any advise would be great. Thanks.

Engine speed
rpm
Idle speed 14psi
2,000 34psi
6,000 57psi

Your oil pressure will vary depending on the mileage. High oil pressure is better than to low it's probably just your gauge

Bringing this post back from the dead! I've been searching for this type of information and i may be searching the wrong words - anyone have any thoughts or know of a better post with more information?

Looking for what readings folks are generally getting on their oil pressure gauges during different driving conditions.
