Car dies @ higher speeds
So guys I got a question. When I step on it in 3rd gear all the way to redline and shift to 4th @ about 90mph, the battery light comes on and my car just DIES
Yup, you read right, my car just shuts off and no power steering or nothing. I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and how you resolve it? I am thinking maybe its my fuel filter, but before I go replacing stuff, I thought I would ask my fellow G members.
Thanks,
Eldin

Hey Pat. Yeah, thats what I thought too, but I made sure I don't touch the rev limiter and it still dies. The car starts to bog after 4500 til about 6000. This is really strange.
mine cut off when i pushed the clutch in. do u have an intake on it? make sure ur mass airflow sensor isnt hitting anything

My auto died going 70 across a bridge so maybe its something else completely.
I dont really know what happened but I pumped my brakes at the guy behind me goin 10 below the speed limit in the fast lane and the car just shuts off and I have to coast to a stop in the middle of a bridge and restart it
Im sure the guy behind me got a kick out of it, thats what I get
