My 05 coupe has it's SAR light blinking... The dealer says it's the module in the seat for the side air bag... He also says this is not covered under warranty... Granted the car is 4+ years, but only 16.5 Kmiles... I always thought Safety items were covered for the life of the car... At $500 plus for repair do I have any options? Is there a Infiniti district Manager I can Plea a case?

 

You need to go past the dealership to fix this. I think that your owners manual has a phone # in it to address any issues. If not, call a different dealership and ask to speak to the GM.

 

Went this monday and the more Knowlageable Service Manager said the repair IS Covered under the Power and Drivetrain Warranty.
Everything is now fixed and at no charge.
