2004 coupe GPS problem

Hello everyone,

I just joined tonight, and I couldn't find this with the search. I just bought a 2004 G35 coupe, and I was wondering if anyone has had problems with the GPS screen not going down. Mine is the manual push down and supposedly click in place, but it just pops right back up when I let go. Thank you!

Obvious question.... You're not pushing down on the top of it by the button are you?

If you do that, it will just keep popping up because you're pressing the release button as you close it... sorta like trying to shut and latch a car door while you still have the door-opening handle pulled out.

ha ha valid question...no I am not pushing on the button. I don't hear it click or anything when I push it all the way down. This isn't a critical issue, but I wouldn't want the screen to burn out or anything from being on ALL the time.
