ECU Not Ready - Setting SRT Flag ? ?
I'm presently throwing P0300 (multi-misfire) due to my FI install, which i here is fairly common. Anyways, I'm trying to pass inspection, but realized that when you clear the DTC codes, your SRT flags (tests COMPLETE) reset as well, and you have to go through all the tests to set them back to COMPLETE.
Anyways, the G35 manual gives some complicated driving pattern to follow to perform all the tests and set the SRT flags, but looks like a pain in the ***, plus I seem to throw the P0300 every 3 or 4 days, so i'm wondering if it just takes that long for everything to test again and it just throws its immediately upon completing the test set.
So, anyone know a better way (or perhaps quicker) way to set those flags?
I have OSIRIS, and wonder if that can be used to permanently set the flags. I'll have to call Jared up at Uprev.
