CPO Extended Elite Warranty question

Long story short, I purchased my G (see sig) with 48k miles with a CPO Extended Elite Warranty to 100k miles.

So as of this thread, my car is at the dealership getting new drive belts, differential fluid, coolant flush, oil change, cabin filter, and inspections. basically the premier 60k service minus the trans flush which was done earlier this year.

Im more than well equipped and educated to do this work myself, but in lieu of that CPO warranty, I want the "major" (fluid changes major? i know, right? ) work done at the dealer for records purposes. Plus it looks better when i'm trying to sell the car.

So my questions is, is it absolutely necessary to shell out the extra $$$ at the dealer for Infiniti to honor any potential warranty issues, should any arise down the line?

I know I have a full brake job coming up soon. I can do this myself, but will having the dealer do it be more beneficial, as it will be on record with my warranty?

I'm fully aware that most people browsing this forum think dealerships are ripoffs. Posting such info is irrelevant and doesnt answer my question. Searching on this "warranty" topic, yielded me hundreds of posts of "stealership this" and "stealership that" and "I can do that in 5 minutes, tyte jDm brO, sHOckEr".

thanks in advance everyone!

If you're worried about warranty coverage, then by all means have "major work" done at the dealership.

For "looking better" when you sell your car, it depends.

If you're going to sell it within a few years, with say 60-80K miles, then maybe.

On the other hand if you're planning on keeping your car till the wheels fall off or well past 100K miles, then in my opinion it doesn't really matter. A car with 100K+ miles isn't going to be worth that much, relatively speaking.
