On the passenger taillight, theres a white clip on the screw nut connected to a harness wire. I was wondering if its a good idea to clip it off so I can change out my OEM tails to my new JDM tails. Heres a pic.

if i recall it just there to hold the wire loom in place. so it wont rattle on the body panel.
